The Viasat Operations Centre alerted the client that his car (an Alfa Romeo 159) was being stolen; from the balcony of his home, the client saw the thieves trying to tow the car with another vehicle. Having been disturbed, the thieves fled abandoning the vehicle a few metres from where it has been parked.
Movement alarm is the function that makes it possible to prevent thefts by detecting suspicious movements of the vehicle with the engine not running.
