What you need to know about tolls in Hungary<\/span><\/h2>\n

The toll road network in Hungary is managed by NUSZ (National Toll Collection Service) and consists of 6745 km highways and intercity roads. The freight vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tonnes are required to pay tolls when using the toll road network in Hungary. Hungarian tolls include value added tax (VAT) of 27%.<\/span><\/p>\n

The calculation of tolls in Hungary is based on the following parameters:<\/span><\/p>\n

The bridges included in the electronic toll payment are the Storeabelt bridge in Denmark and the Oresund bridge connecting Sweden and Denmark.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The tolls are paid after the use of the paid road sections by the trucks. The user of the vToll International service receives an invoice for the tolls he owes every two weeks after using the paid toll sections.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The vToll International service is provided via an easy-to-use bMoov on-board device. The latter is installed in the driver’s cab by means of a fixed installation made by a professional or by plugging in the truck’s lighter.<\/span><\/p>\n
