Helvetia Italia Group has finalised a master agreement with Viasat, Italian excellence in the field of automotive telematics, to offer the company’s policyholders new high-tech insurance services. The purpose of this collaboration is precisely to make Viasat’s innovative satellite solutions available to the company’s.
This collaboration allows those who own a ‘vintage’ car to obtain the most advantageous conditions of RC policies reserved for historic cars, even though they do not have all the characteristics of a historic car.
The service can be activated in the presence of Viasat’s SlimBox self-installing device, supplied on a free loan basis, which makes it possible to check the vehicle’s kilometres driven and obtain, if necessary, any support from the 24/7 Operations Centre: theft management, mechanical and medical assistance in the event of breakdown, danger or accident. If today’s new generation cars are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and native connectivity, now also ”older” cars have the possibility to be upgraded to be more safe.
