Viasat Servicios Telemáticos, the Spanish branch of the Viasat Group,is strengthening its Spanish network and establishing direct presence in South America by acquiring a majority stake in MobileFleet.
MobileFleet, which is based in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid), specialises in the provision of satellite telematics services for fleets of vehicles, with a widespread network of installers and extensive experience in the production, development and management of solutions for vehicle safety, as well as in M2M communication and GPS tracking. The company operates in Spain and has an extensive network in Latin America through its subsidiary Mobilefleet Chile, which is also now part of the Viasat Group.
