A client contacted the Viasat Operations Centre to report the theft of his vehicle, a Volkswagen fitted with the Fox 5.2. The operator activated the theft procedures but the terminal did not respond.
On the next day, when the terminal started to notify reliable positions, the Carabinieri of Cutrofiano were contacted and guided to the place indicated. The vehicle was relocated the courtyard of a house and, following the incident, the Carabinieri initiated an investigation of the person involved.
