The Viasat Operations Center was contacted to report the theft of a Fiat Seicento parked in Via de Rolandi 12 in Milan. The owner, on holiday at that time, noted the theft only on the day on which this was reported. Contacting the Police, the Operations Center operator notified the last position detected but, arriving on the scene, the Carabinieri did not find the vehicle in the position notified. New positions were not communicated by the Satellite System until May 5 when a new alarm was triggered. The Carabinieri of the competent department traced the vehicle on the basis of the new coordinates notified by the Viasat operator.
